Tannico has commissioned us a wine shop/wine bar, placed in an area of the Milan Central Station that has undergone a profound restyling to make room for various local and national food and wine excellences. An environment full of people who speak, laugh, joke, share, taste, toast, celebrate, discover. Winest has translated the soul of the Central Market into furnishing accessories capable of combining the idea of a welcoming and inclusive open space with the need to give maximum visibility to bottles intended for sale and on-site consumption.
Walls completely covered with bottles, a large central table for tastings and a counter that can accomodate several people: an urban, easy and informal environment, in which easy gripping, consumption and socialization stand out.
The industrial style of the whole context suggested us to use metal elements consisting of solid raw iron with a square section, visible grinding and welding and solid oak wood, suitably brushed to give a decidedly material effect. The counter is made up of walls coated with epoxy resin with a concrete effect. There is also the stone in the checkout area and back counter with natural slate tops.
