The wine library in Switzerland
In a private house in Lugano, Winest has transformed a room with unusual size (narrow, long and very high) into a real “wine library”.
Various distributional hypotheses and design drafts have led to an excellent result: a wall fully furnished up to its top, equipped with a sliding ladder, to be able to access each of its compartments.
In order to allow our customer to carefully evaluate proportions and volumes we have made a 1:10 scale model by which we could arrange essences, colours and details. Components in laser cut and powder coated steel, solid oak wood, undermount and wall lighting, backlight with LED strips hidden inside the profiles of the structure. Temperatures of warm natural light, 2700°K. Sink in fossil wood, brushed rustic stone floor.
